OUR SAFETY POLICY
Premiere Transportation takes the safety of our passengers and our own employees very seriously. We pride ourselves on our maintenance program and our New York State Department of Transportation pass rating which is above 95%. In addition, all of our chauffeurs are required to undergo random drug testing, and an annual behind the wheel road test. Premiere Transportation holds a certification by the United States Department of Defense in order to provide transportation for the military at any given time. This requires Premiere to not only meet New York State DOT regulation, but federal DOT regulations which goes above and beyond New York States which are some of the toughest in the country. Premiere Transportation carries a 5 million dollar liability policy, surpassing the industry standard of a 1.5 million dollar policy. We encourage you to come down to our facility and take a tour. We will show you why safety is our first priority and how we go through every step to make sure our vehicles are safe and dependable.
VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLIANCE
All of our vehicles are manufactured by reputable coach builders that follow federal and state vehicle safety laws. Each vehicle is meticulously maintained to the highest standards by our in-house, full-time maintenance staff. We encourage you to click the link below where you can see DOT Pass ratings for transportation providers in New York State.
Due to industry safety concerns, Premiere Transportation discontinued the use of any stretch SUV’s in 2011. We replaced these vehicles with safer and more reliable, multi passenger luxury buses. In addition to replacing these vehicles, we also purchase new vehicles every 5 years to keep a late model fleet. In addition, we have 2 full-time mechanics that help maintain our DOT pass record.
Premiere Transportation carefully screens every driver that gets behind the wheel. All of our chauffeurs are required to go through criminal background checks at the State and Federal level as well as random drug testing. Our chauffeurs receive etiquette training and behind the wheel road tests throughout the year to ensure the quality of each driver.
